While we built this simple, modern men's ring for durability and comfort.  A challenge baguette, square or rectangle stones have when being set and worn is that the corners are vulnerable to breakage.  The corners are frequently chipped through out the life of the stone either through wear and tear or poor setting.  It is important that your setter creates a clean, splinter free seat for the stone to rest in and for the metal to hold the corners while not covering too much of the stone's beauty.
