Palladium Scroll Engraved Wedding Band

Elichai learned hand engraving from the famous Master Engraver Sam Alfano during an era in America when no one was teaching jewelry engraving. Sam generously agreed to teach Elichai how to hand engrave even though everyone else in the class was learning how to engrave guns.
Every once and awhile you see the gun style engraving shine through in the intricacy of Elichai's engraving.  As a rule, gun engraving covers more of the surface and isn't quite as deeply engraved as is required for the wear and tear jewelry receives. Here you see the very botanical scroll work that covers from edge to edge of this ring.  Elichai has adapted the techniques he learned from Sam in order to provide beautifully engraved jewelry that can withstand eroding with daily wear.
